hi there i work for a ford dealership and handbrake adjustments are common as all s**t all u do to do it right is have the handbrake down back the cable of under the car till where it splits into to cable left and right till it about 10mm from the nut. the pull your calipers off and pull the discs off and adjust the shoes out so as when u put the disc back on and lever the banksia arm on the back u got bout a 6mm gap between the banksia arm and the backing plate then adjust .
