11/23/2018  · Although neither would be my first choice for a rock band, the Evolve should be far better suited for using in a typical l-r pair configuration. The Bose ‘s extra wide dispersion pattern, and its inherently diffuse and non-punchy sound make it a poor choice for rock, especially when doubling up in the traditional one speaker on one side of the stage, and another one on the other side configuration.
